Meet the Team

Paul is a passionate community builder and technical leader with 8+ years of experience at IBM and Siemens, leading Cloud, AI, and industrial automation projects. He graduated with an MSc in Industrial Engineering & Management from KIT, École des Ponts, and UPV Bilbao.

Carlo combines entrepreneurial and investment experience across venture and family businesses. After close to 10 years at Cherry Ventures, working with founders on scaling, value creation and financing, he founded Lineage, the first institutional search fund investor in Germany. Having considered searching himself when the ecosystem was still nascent, he co-initiated Searchers Hub.

John blends venture capital, private equity, and entrepreneurial experience. After operating roles in Silicon Valley, he co-founded Link, a diversity initiative in VC and PE, and is currently building Lineage. Drawing on hands-on work with founders, investors, and the German Mittelstand, he applies a practical value-creation mindset to the search fund ecosystem.

Clemens is an MSc Finance graduate from Esade Business School with experience in m&a, venture capital and mid-market private equity investments. He is starting his career as a strategy consultant at Boston Consulting Group, initiated the Berlin chapter and built the Searchers Hub platform and branding.

Alexander is a TUM MSc graduate with a strategy consulting background and a hands-on focus on transformation and operational value creation. He is currently a Searcher for German/Bavarian SMEs, the Munich Lead of Searchers Hub, and the co-host of the podcast 'Die Mittelstandspiloten.'

Lukas leads M&A and value creation at Waterkant Software, part of CHAPTERS Group. He is a PhD candidate in entrepreneurship through acquisition at HHL Leipzig and the University of St. Gallen, and lectures on ETA at HHL. Previously a strategy consultant at BCG, he now builds the Searchers Hub community in Hamburg by organizing events and regular meetups.

With a degree from the Stockholm School of Economics, Felix started his career at BCG, advising private equity clients and portfolio companies on due diligence, integration and restructuring. He is now a PhD candidate at HHL Leipzig, researching ETA, SME succession and the adoption of AI in small-cap private equity, and teaching ETA courses for HHL and NYU students. He co-leads the Hamburg chapter and connects searchers, owners and investors across the city.

Fred is an operator focused on building and growing small businesses. His background spans venture building, international projects, and operational leadership, from launching new ventures and teams to building his own real estate business.

Andreas is a strategic advisor with 10+ years at UBS, advising established and disruptive companies across Europe and the Middle East. A former intrapreneur, he specialized in digitization and IT transformation while building high-performing teams. He is the Co-founder of D+V Nachfolge and is now an entrepreneur dedicated to preserving the legacy of established German businesses.

Jakob builds the Austrian's first ETA community and expands the network of searchers, operators and investors. He brings experience in corporate transformation, restructuring and operational leadership, working across international industrial and project-driven businesses.

Ernes is President of the ETA Club at the University of St.Gallen, where he is reading Business Administration. He previously worked in M&A advisory at Ramus & Company, and now builds the Searchers Hub community in Zurich.

Enrique is a global data and analytics leader with 15+ years in insurance and financial services, where he has led transformations of pricing, claims and underwriting and steered portfolios of over €200m. Named to 40under40 Insurance in 2024, he now builds the ETA community in Madrid.

Jörg is a searcher looking to take over an owner-led manufacturing business in Saxony and the region around it. As a managing director and regional lead with Prokura he ran up to 40 people across 13 sites and turned a result from −€0.9m to +€2.7m in two years, brought another business back to profitability and built a new business line inside a family company. He holds an MBA from HHL Leipzig and a degree in industrial engineering, and now builds the Searchers Hub community in Leipzig.

Tomasz started in consulting at Strategy& in Warsaw, working on manufacturing excellence and post-merger integration. He spent the last two years as Chief of Staff at RedStone, running cross-functional projects alongside the founders as the team grew. He holds a bachelor's in Global Business, Finance and Governance from SGH Warsaw School of Economics, and now builds the Searchers Hub community in Warsaw.
