Meet the Team

Paul is a passionate community builder and technical leader with 8+ years of experience at IBM and Siemens, leading Cloud, AI, and industrial automation projects. He graduated with an MSc in Industrial Engineering & Management from KIT, École des Ponts, and UPV Bilbao.

Carlo combines entrepreneurial and investment experience across venture and family businesses. After close to 10 years at Cherry Ventures, working with founders on scaling, value creation and financing, he founded Lineage, the first institutional search fund investor in Germany. Having considered searching himself when the ecosystem was still nascent, he co-initiated the Search Fund Hub.

John blends venture capital, private equity, and entrepreneurial experience. After operating roles in Silicon Valley, he co-founded Link, a diversity initiative in VC and PE, and is currently building Lineage. Drawing on hands-on work with founders, investors, and the German Mittelstand, he applies a practical value-creation mindset to the search fund ecosystem.

Clemens is an MSc Finance graduate from Esade Business School with experience in m&a, venture capital and mid-market private equity investments. He is starting his career as a strategy consultant at Boston Consulting Group, initiated the Berlin chapter and built the Search Fund Hub platform and branding.

Alexander is a TUM MSc graduate with a strategy consulting background and a hands-on focus on transformation and operational value creation. He is currently a Searcher for German/Bavarian SMEs, the Munich Lead of Search Fund Hub, and the co-host of the podcast 'Die Mittelstandspiloten.'

Lukas leads M&A and value creation at Waterkant Software, part of CHAPTERS Group. He is a PhD candidate in ETA at HHL Leipzig and the University of St. Gallen, where he also serves as a lecturer. Previously a strategy consultant at BCG, he now builds the Search Fund Hub community in Hamburg by organizing events and regular meetups.

Frederik leads the Berlin chapter of Search Fund Hub, bringing searchers, operators and investors in the capital together through regular events and meetups.

Andreas is a strategic advisor with 10+ years at UBS, advising established and disruptive companies across Europe and the Middle East. A former intrapreneur, he specialized in digitization and IT transformation while building high-performing teams. He is the Co-founder of D+V Nachfolge and is now an entrepreneur dedicated to preserving the legacy of established German businesses.

Jakob builds the Austrian's first ETA community and expands the network of searchers, operators and investors. He brings experience in corporate transformation, restructuring and operational leadership, working across international industrial and project-driven businesses.

Ernes is President of the ETA Club at the University of St.Gallen, where he is reading Business Administration. He previously worked in M&A advisory at Ramus & Company, and now builds the Search Fund Hub community in Zurich.

Enrique is a global data and analytics leader with 15+ years in insurance and financial services, where he has led transformations of pricing, claims and underwriting and steered portfolios of over €200m. Named to 40under40 Insurance in 2024, he now builds the ETA community in Madrid.
