Our Mission
Our mission is to bring visibility to Entrepreneurship-through-Acquisition (ETA) as a potential solution to the succession gap in the European Mittelstand and as an alternative to founding a new company.
We promote knowledge transfer and networking between different stakeholders - entrepreneurial talents, companies with open succession, and investors.
What is ETA?
Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition is an entrepreneurial approach where individuals or teams search for, acquire, and then lead and develop an existing company, rather than founding a new one.
Given the massive succession gap, diverse approaches are needed in the coming years to lead the Mittelstand - which makes up 99% of companies in the EU - into the future. This structural development is also an opportunity for entrepreneurially-minded individuals.
