Working Student / Intern for DD support (m/f/d) – Micro PE/ ETA

We are a lean, high-performing team combining strategic, financial, operational, and technical expertise: Michael (ex-BCG Principal), Paul (ex-Siemens / ex-IBM Technical Project Leader).

Join us at the intersection of entrepreneurship, investing, and the German Mittelstand. We are building a micro-cap private equity platform focused on acquiring and developing high-quality succession businesses in Germany. As a Working Student / Intern (Freelance setup also possible), you will work at the core of our due diligence processes and support us directly in live deals. This is not a back-office internship. You will take ownership early and contribute to real acquisition workstreams. What you will work on: - Sit at the center of commercial and financial due diligence on live acquisition targets - Build the analyses, models, and summaries that drive real investment decisions - Research markets, competitors, and industries - Help coordinate advisors and banks throughout the process - Occasionally support deal sourcing and screening of incoming opportunities

We are looking for a highly analytical, entrepreneurial, and execution-oriented candidate who wants to support us in Due Diligence processes. You are a strong fit if you bring: - Ongoing studies in Business, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field - Hands-on exposure to due diligence processes — you know what actually happens inside a deal - Sharp analytical thinking and a structured, detail-obsessed way of working - Real curiosity for private equity, M&A, search funds, and Mittelstand succession - Fluency in AI tools, Excel, and PowerPoint — you make them work for you - An ownership mindset: you take things off our plate and get them done - Fluent German (required)
